Have mixed feelings on my experience. I did make a nice pot on my course, studio is in a nice setting, the teacher was knowledgeable. The studio has a relaxed atmosphere but I felt that the teacher was unprofessional in the way she discussed other and past students,
Brenda is a fabulous teacher and has created a welcoming and dynamic environment in which to learn.I love how everyone has started at different times so people work side by side at different levels. Brenda gives help and guidance when it is needed, the intial classes are more structured then you gradually work through her teaching process according to how long you feel like learning. Im already through a 4 week and a 12 week course and now onto my next batch. Many people in the class have come for years! A lovely friendly place to learn.
Brenda is an incredible teacher with so much knowledge and experience and the Pottery Shed is an encouraging, fun place to be. It's more than just learning to do pottery it is a warm, inclusive and welcoming community. Recommended unreservedly.
